Bonanza Cabernet Sauvignon (California) Lot 6

Lot 4 is a plum purple color with crimson highlights, opening with a serious nose of dark fruits, soft leather, cassis, unsweetened chocolate, and a subtle scent of smoke. The palate features intense yet elegantly smooth tannins that recede to ripe berries and hints of vanilla and blueberry. The long, dry finish returns to a serious note with luxuriously fine tannins. The Wagners, with a long history in Napa Valley dating back to the 1850s, founded Caymus Vineyards over forty-five years ago. Bonanza by Chuck Wagner reflects the abundance of California, with flavors of blueberries, blackberries, vanilla, and toasted bread. Silky tannins and smoothness make it an excellent pairing with grilled filet mignon or aged Vermont Cheddar.
