Frey Sun and Rain Organic Chard WF 22

Named for Mendocino's diurnal shifts, this Chardonnay balances sunny fruit (ripe apple, peach) with rain-cooled acidity. Pale gold in color, it offers aromas of golden delicious apple, wet flint and a whisper of vanilla from partial (20%) oak aging. The palate is creamy yet vibrant, with flavors of citrus zest, almond skin and a mineral finish that Vinous (89 pts) calls "harmonious and food-friendly." Fermented with native yeasts and aged on lees for 8 months. Pair with roast turkey or seafood pasta. Drink now-2026.
