About Chianti D.O.C.G. Chianti is one of Italys oldest and most famous appellations. Hailing from the rolling hills of Tuscany, the grapes are grown at varying elevations and subject to a Mediterranean climate with hot summers, wet springs, and mild winters, all yielding grapes with well-balanced acidity, sugar, and aromas. Typically best consumed young, up to 3 years after bottling.
