This Bordeaux-style blend from a challenging vintage displays a deep ruby-garnet hue. The nose offers mature aromas of dried cherry, cigar box, and roasted herbs with subtle earthy undertones. The palate delivers surprising freshness - flavors of fig, black olive, and dark chocolate unfold with resolved tannins that earned 91-93 point accolades. A blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 20% Petit Verdot aged 20 months in French oak, this 14.5% alcohol red is drinking beautifully now with braised meats or hearty stews.
